   • Acute and chronic bronchitis

2. Urinary Tract Infections:

3. Skin and Soft Tissue Infections:

   • Cellulitis
   • Erysipelas

4. Bone and Joint Infections:

   • Osteomyelitis
   • Septic arthritis

5. Intra-abdominal Infections:

   • Peritonitis

6. Septicemia:

   • Bloodstream infections

Uses:

• Intramuscular (I.M.) Injection:

  • Suitable for mild to moderate infections and when intravenous (I.V.) administration is not feasible.

• Intravenous (I.V.) Injection:

  • Used for severe infections and for patients requiring higher blood levels of the antibiotic.

Dosage:

• Adults: Typically, 750mg to 1.5g every 8 hours, depending on the severity of the infection.
• Children: Dosage is adjusted based on body weight and severity of the infection.
