Product Description:
Salbutamol Sulfate Ipratropium Bromide (Salresp I) 205mg/500mcg per 2.5ml Nebules is a combination medication used to treat respiratory conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma. It is delivered in the form of nebulizer solution contained in 35 single-dose nebules, each containing a combination of 205 mcg of Salbutamol Sulfate (a beta-2 agonist) and 500 mcg of Ipratropium Bromide (an anticholinergic agent).
-
Salbutamol (also known as Albuterol) is a bronchodilator that works by relaxing the muscles in the airways, thereby opening the airways and making it easier to breathe.
-
Ipratropium Bromide is an anticholinergic medication that works by inhibiting the action of acetylcholine on the muscarinic receptors in the airways, leading to bronchodilation and reduced mucus secretion.
The combined effect of these two drugs helps improve airflow, reduce wheezing, and alleviate shortness of breath in people with obstructive airway diseases.
Each nebule contains:
-
205 mcg Salbutamol Sulfate
-
500 mcg Ipratropium Bromide
-
Volume: 2.5 ml per nebule
